Behind the Adventurer
Margaret (Maggie) Kruger is a painter, author, mother (and grandmother), entrepreneur, and adventurer. As her first love, Maggie‘s paintings focus on the joy, peace, and exhilaration found in both the extraordinary and every day. Her paintings are informed by her life experiences, study at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Miano Atelier, and her years as the owner and curator of M Gallery of Fine Art, a collection of museum quality living representational artists. Located in both Charleston, SC and Sarasota, FL, M Gallery was considered one of the best representational galleries in the Southeastern United States with painters holding awards from the American portrait Society and Oil Painters of America. A lifelong entrepreneur and developer of several patents, Maggie founded and ran several companies as well as created a regional arts magazine, and produced an arts focused TV talk show. A world traveler, Maggie is also a FAA Instrument rated pilot and PADI certified advanced open water and rescue diver. Maggie’s wonder at the world around her is reflected in her art, where she paints what she sees how she sees it.
